Meet Pearl aka PD!

PD got her name because she was dropped over the Police Department fence in Rome, GA. She spent time in the Rome shelter and we took her to save her from being euthanized. She is by far our longest Summit’s
Sanctuary resident. We have discovered she is deaf. She loves to run and play and do her zoomies every time she is let out in our big yard. Therefore a fenced yard is a must. She LOVES people once she gets to know them. She is spayed , heart worm negative and has had all her shots.
Because of her deafness she will need a very understanding home. She does great with adults , but we would not recommend a home with young children. She is a wonderful dog and will make a sweet loving pet with the right family, despite her deafness.

She deserves to finally get out of the kennels and into a forever home!
